Welcome to Mister D’s online Guitar Lessons!

The idea behind the following lessons is to help you understand musical theory as it applies to the guitar. Each exercise will be written in both standard notation and tablature. There will be a RealOne Player® with each exercise, just click the play button to hear the sample. If you need to download the RealOne Player®, there is a free player located on the consumer page. I suggest you print out and practice each exercise at increasing metronome settings as you progress. In order to print using Internet Explorer: click inside the frame that you want to print; then go to File, print preview; then select "Only the selected frame" in the drop down menu.
