Yoga and Pilates Classes:

PILATES CLASSES:

 

Pilates Mat Classes at McLean Community Center

Beginner (6:30-7:30 pm) and Continuing Beginner (7:45 - 8:45 pm) classes are held Monday and Wednesday evenings.

The 2009 summer session begins on June 15th and runs through August 5th. There are a total of sixteen classes in the session.

Fall session begins on September 14th and ends on November 9th. 

Holiday Edition Pilates runs from November 16th to December 16th.

Missed pilates classes can be made up by attending another pilates or yoga class (see below) during the same session.

Residents of McLean and nonresidents are welcome (the latter pay a higher fee).

My best advice: register at least one week before class is scheduled to begin -- in order to ensure both that there are enough enrollees to hold the class, and sometimes - to ensure you get a space in the class.

 

 

YOGA CLASSES:

 

Yoga for (Almost) Every Body  

at McLean Community Center

For beginnners, continuing practitioners and those getting back into a yoga practice, these classes combine yoga postures (asanas) with breathing exercises, meditation and relaxation.

 

TUESDAY NIGHT CLASS: 7:30 to 9pm

Summer session 2009 begins on June 23rd and ends on August 4th. There are 7 classes in the session. Fall session begins September 15th and ends November 10th. 

Holiday Edition Yoga runs from November 24th to December 15th.

Note: all yoga classes fill very quickly, and are generally full - with a wait list. It is best to register ASAP in order to guarantee yourself a space in the class. If you would like to see a Thursday night class added, please contact the Center with your suggestion.

 

Missed Yoga classes can be made up by attending a pilates class during the same session (see above).
