WHAT IS A GICLEE PRINT?

In the Giclee process a large printer sprays up to a million microscopic droplets of ink per second, from multiple precision nozzles, on to fine art paper. Each piece of paper is individually hand-mounted. The process utilizes information obtained from a digital scan of the original art work or a transparency. The resulting print accurately reflects the artist's skills. "Giclee" is French for the spraying of ink. Prints are available in varying sizes.
