Current standings


Note:  

    The MJS Standings began as a hobby project in 1989 and evolved
    into their current form in 1992.  Since 1992, the standings have
    been computed as in the description, except that the
    strength-of-schedule (SOS) component was weighted differently in
    early years.  The SOS weighting of 0.7 was first used in 1999
    and has been used in all seasons since.

    The historical standings shown here are computed using the SOS
    weighting of 0.7 in the description.  Thus, the standings shown
    here for 1992 through 1998 differ from the standings originally
    published.
