Efficiently computerize your IV orders.  For facilities without an existing IV pharmacy computer system, this program is an excellent starter program for mamaging your IV orders.  For those with systems already in place, it's an ideal cost-effective back up.  Features include:

• J.C.A.H.O. compliant labels may be printed ...
• • with each new patient order.
  • PRN (as needed) for replacement IV's.
  • within a range of "due" times.
  • upon changing existing orders.
  • in 24 hour batch runs by patient name, additive, nursing unit, or bed number.
  • home infusion orders may be printed when "home" is entered as patient's bed number.
• Orders may be categorized as piggy-back, syringe, LVP, TPN, epidural, chemotherapy, and chemo syringe.
• A starter list of frequent standard orders and comments, with mnemonics, is included to reduce keystrokes.  You can enter new standards or modify existing ones as needed.
• 3 continuous pin-feed label sizes with 2 different formats each, plus 1 fixed laser label format

IV Profiler for Windows - under development.

Micro Automation's IV software packages are moving to the Microsoft Windows platform as "true" Windows applications.  These new versions are being designed to meet all the IV labeling needs of decentralized pharmacy departments, while remaining within the reach of smaller pharmacies and ambulatory infusion centers.  The release date has not yet been scheduled. Planned new features include:

• User definable label formats.
• Multiuser network operation.
• Client/server and peer-to-peer operation.
• Supported platforms: Windows 9x, ME, NT 4.0, 2000, XP
