To honour the glorious fallen and heroic veterans of the Irish Guards Regiment, and the spirit of the regiment today.

In a broader scope, to honour the contributions of the Brigade of Guards, the British Army, and the Empire in WWII and world history.

To promote the awareness of Anglo Irish culture.

To encourage the study of history including personal lifestyles, equipment, political, and cultural aspects of the period.

To participate in educational displays, parades, and civil functions as a service to the community.

To offer ourselves as a historical resource, and to aid those whose goal it is to learn more about World War II, by portraying the Irish Guards, and the period which we represent, in the most authentic manner possible.

To portray both the glories, and the horrors of war, in such a manner that the triumph never fades, the sacrifices be long remembered, and the lessons learned never forgotten. For "War is an ugly business and we must beware of endowing it with too much romance."
