Welcome to the home of the Rockin' Road Report!

As I hope you can tell, the site has undergone a major renovation!  My design skills are improving and so, hopefully, is this site!  It will take me awhile to get everything converted, so some items may be missing while I finish this project.  Meanwhile a bit about the site...

Back in 2001, I took a week off from work to follow Journey around on the first week of their Arrival tour.  Since friends and fellow fans were anxious to hear what the new material sounded like live, I filed reports from the road to the Journey Digest mailing list -- the Rockin' Road Report was born.  Since then, I've kept up with concert reports for every Journey show I've attended.  They became so popular that prior to the start of the 2005 Generations tour, I had to reassure folks that yes, I would post my report as soon as I got back to the hotel! (Thus finding myself in the business center until nearly three a.m!) After years of having the reports reside on my computer, on JourneyDigest.com, and in mailing list archives, I decided it was time to finally gather them in one place, thus this site.

I have also added reports from shows prior to the 2001 tour. Most of these "reports" are essentially emails sent to friends and mailing lists, so aren't necessarily in the same vein as the later reviews.  I've kept them more or less as originally written -- just a few corrections of typos and minor clean up of poor grammar.  You will also find other Journey-related tales I've sent out over the years.  I honestly don't know why I saved some of them other than they were of importance to me at the time.  Beware, they can get VERY long...

In addition to my Journey (and Journey related) Road Reports, I have a few "Special Edition" Rockin' Road Reports sent to friends and concert buddies for other non-Journey shows.  They'll find a home here as well, and I am continuing to add to this section -- especially since Journey is in limbo these days!
