K. O. Lee B360 Tool and Cutter Grinder
I had been looking for a cutter grinder for some time when this one came up on Ebay, relatively local and fairly cheap.
I put my bid in at the last second and held my breath.... Not only did I get it, I got it for a song. A quick drive to Atlanta in my flatbed delivered it home.
Neat Features
The K. O. Lee cutter grinders come in several different models. This one is the smallest of it's type and features a sliding arm on top of the column, as well as a separate spinlde and motor which not only allows for pulley changes to vary the speed of the spindle, but also allows the wheel to be positioned nearly anywhere.
There are two swivels, one at the top of the column, and another under and just behind the spindle. Using the swivels, a true universal reach is obtained.
Additionally, larger wheels can be mounted directly on the motor to run direct drive at 3450rpm.
Here the head is slid all the way aft and is straight to the table.
Here the head has been swivelled about 45 dgrees on the column and the motor and spindle set another 45 degrees to show the universal movement.
There is also an optional attachment that allows the motor to be swivelled vertically at the end of the arm.
