1968 Van Norman 2G Bridge Mill

The 5 gal can in the foreground is for scale. The 2G is a REALLY big machine, weighing about 4000lbs.

Frontal view shows the modernized variable speed drive panel for the X and Y axis motors. This machine also came with ground ballscrews on both the X and Y axis drive, making it a very likely candidate for a later CNC conversion.

These pics were taken just after I finally got it moved into the shop. The black plastic is still covering the head and the table.

200amp service is scheduled to be installed this week, so working pics should be coming within a month or so at most.
