SHORE FIBER ARTS GUILD

Spinning Wheel Craft Show Demo Our Summer Space-Dyeing Workshop
Brunch, a once-a-year treat!
The Shore Fiber Arts Guild is an organization of people located in Monmouth County, New Jersey, who share an interest in the fiber arts. Our membershiop is currently all women, but we do encourage you guys out there! We are spinners, knitters and weavers who meet on the third Monday of the month at 7:30 pm in the Ocean Township Community facility behind the firehouse on Memorial Parkway. Our monthly programs involve interesting topics and projects such as knitting unspun silk, dyeing sock yarn, spinning tutorials, and other things of general interest to the guild members.

As a guild, we also do demonstrations at various community functions throughout the year: the Monmouth County Fair and Alaire State Park in the summer, the Spinning Wheel Craft Show at Middletown Township South High School in the Spring, the Ocean Township Community Day in the Fall and Poricy Park in the winter.

We also have three study groups that each meet once a month at various member's houses. The Spinning Study Group meets on the first Wednesday. The Weaving Study Group meets on the second Wednesday. The Knitting Study Group meets on the fourth Monday. Contact me for more details.
