| SCARVES |
| Scarves are among the most popular of my alpaca items. Alpaca makes a
wonderfully warm and soft scarf. I have woven a wide array of scarves too numerous to
show here, but you'll find some samples below. And custom design ideas are infinite...

This feathery scarf is knitted with the same 100% alpaca yarn used in the woven
shawl. The colors are dark and light cochineal, with narrow stripes of
the cochineal/indigo variegated yarn. The ripples are a result of the knitted
lace pattern, leaving a pretty, scalloped edge on both ends of the scarf.
This knitted lace fabric can also be used in vests, wimples and shawls. |
 |
The gray and pink scarf is a lace weave of worsted weight commercial alpaca yarn.
The brown and rose-gray scarf is woven from handspun yarn, spun by Leah
Dewald.
These are ideal fabrics to make into hooded scarves. |

Here are some colorful scarves woven in various weave structures from
various commercial alpaca yarns. They demonstrate how beautifully alpaca takes
dye. Your only limit is your imagination. |
 |
| All scarves are available in adult and child sizes.
An infinite variety of weave structures and color combinations afford endless
opportunities for uniqueness.
Fringe on all my scarves is finished in a 2-ply twist to
preserve the yarn and to avoid
tangles, lending a very neat and bouncy, finished look to each scarf.
