I love working with alpaca because the fiber has a luxurious feel, softer than most wools. It is a versatile fiber, suitable for knitting and weaving. And it is much lighter and warmer than wool. Alpaca fabric, whether knitted or woven, drapes wonderfully giving garments lovely shape.
