Flying the Model:
The model is waiting good, calm, dry weather.
Construction Highlights:
The model uses typical stick and tissue techniques. The average builder should not have much trouble. Model can be built with or without the leading edge extension. Plans show both set of ribs required. Tail surfaces have been enlarged 10% over scale.
But, there is one unique step that I used. Namely, the simulated inlet is one of the last things you add. The wings are built and covered before being attached to the fuselage. The piece of wood, simulating the inlet is not installed until after the covered wings are attached to the fuse. I also covered the fuselage before attaching the wings. It seems a little odd, but it gives you the best fit up.
