Here's
the front entrance to the park. Instead of a Main Street U.S.A., the park has a
large courtyard area that they use for character greetings. There's also a large
covered World Bazaar that's lined with the same kinds of shops you'd see at
Disney World. Disneyland is celebrating its 20th Anniversary, and there are
spectacular flower sculptures of all the main characters.

On
the left are some more of those great flower sculptures just outside the main
area of the park. On the right is a shot of the covered World Bazaar. Please
note how much taller Chris is than the rest of the crowd.

Tokyo
Disneyland's Fantasyland is AWESOME. There are extra attractions and rides that
we don't have in Florida. On the left is us in front of the carousel (and cool
Mickey and Minnie topiaries).
On the right is an atmosphere group called the Mad Hatters. It's a brass/drum group. Alice and the White Rabbit dance with them.

Here's
more of the Mad Hatters with the castle in the background.
And here's one of the band members waving to the camera.

This
is an incredible restaurant in Fantasyland. It's based on Alice in
Wonderland. That's a shrub maze on the top and all sorts of wackiness in
relation to the Queen of Hearts.

This
is the inside of that cool restaurant. It's really fantastic!
To the right is the two of us with one of the Card Guards fro Alice in Wonderland.

To
the left is MG on the carousel. The actual carousel resembles the one in
Florida, but overall isn't as nice.
The spinning teacups are very much the same, but we thought the lanterns looked very Japanese on this version.
