LULA PRYOR, burlesque actress (variously spelled Lula or Lulu, Prior or
Pryor! but LULU PRIOR (1854 - ?) seems to be right)

The daighter of J J Prior and his wife, prominent performers, born at  Bushwick LI 27 October 1854. She began on the stage as a child, notably as little Eva in UNCLE TOM'S CABIN. Olympic Theatre company in 1870 in supporting roles, then a member of the Alice Oates company, and again with George L Fox at the Olympic (1871).
