Off Telemarketers lists - this really can help a lot:
Send your name, address, and phone numbers you want do not want
called by telemarketers. Sorry, you can't call them. And if one
calls you in the meantime, say "please put me on your do NOT call list, do
not call me again", by law, they can not call you again. This is also
the only way to stop local groups from calling. Unfortunately charities,
politicians and companies you've done business with in the past 18 months can
still call - just say "put me on your do not call list". It works
