I am researching my family history. My family is of German-Russian ancestry. My grandparents, Konrad and Christine Suelzle, immigrated to the U.S. in 1902 and homesteaded in Butte, North Dakota. While they immigrated to the U.S. from Dubrudscha (Romania). Their families came from Katzbach, Bessarabia, located in the Black Sea area of Russia. Originally, our ancestors came from the Württemburg area of Germany and migrated to Bessarabia in the 1800s with a stay in Poland for approximately ten years. My family roots are confirmed to 1830s to Christian Stephan Sülzle born 1803 in Fürnsal, Wüttemburg, Germany.
