Amazingly, every major religious group in India agreed that Ramana Maharshi was fully enlightened.

Other recent examples of fully enlightened teachers would include Jiddu Krishnamurti, Ramakrishna, the original Shirdi Sai Baba, and possibly George Gurdjieff and U.G. Krishnamurti.  Examples of what I would consider enlightenment gone astray would be Meher Baba and Acharya Rajneesh, alias Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh, alias Osho.
