Please have someone drive you as you will be sedated and will be unable to drive.

Morning Before Exam:

Mix PEG Solution (Nulytely, Golytely or Colyte) according to instructions and refrigerate.

Clear Liquid Diet all day.

(Clear Liquids are liquids you can see through, no chunks, Jello (not red) is allowed.)

3pm - 7pm:

Drink a glass of the PEG Solution very 10-15 minutes to finish 1 gallon over 4-6 hours.

After Midnight:

Nothing by Mouth

Medication is allowed with small sip of water up until 3 hours before procedure.

If you are Diabetic - Please ask your Doctor about special instructions.

Stop the following Medications:

Coumadin - 5 days

Aspirin, Plavix, Ticlid - 3-5 days

Iron - 3 days
