I've received some inquiries as to why I have such a, uh, dorky expression on my face in the R&R Nominations feature. Please allow me to set the record straight.

The photo printed was not exactly the photo submitted. I am a victim of censorship, not unlike The King was when Ed Sullivan refused to show his lower body.

Either someone at the publication in question has a personal vendetta or the photo editor is as blind as me. Look at all of the photos in the AC PD Of The Year category, won't you?

This is the unedited photo that was submitted to Radio and Records. Can you see why the goofy expression was on my face?

An attempt at comedy and a perfectly legit campaign tactic was sabotoged. Even I, the ultimate Funster, would not intentionally choose to look so goofy in print. Even in R&R.

With that in mind, please remember to vote early and vote often. Vote for free speech. Vote for justice. Vote for me.
