| Learning to understand and decipher e-mail and Usenet headers is the first step in being able to combat spam. In order to report the net abuser to the correct originating ISP, you have to be able to trace the path that the spam took back from your inbox to the Injection Point. This path is often deliberately obscured by the sender. We have developed some pages that demonstrate how to trace headers, from the simple to the complex. Some of the graphics take a while to load, so please bear with us. Most of the tracking tools used were from Sam Spade PC version.
