Hello, Friends...especially New Friends I met in India.
Having just returned from a tour of India and being extraordinarily excited about what I saw there, I have hurried to finish four new paintings with reference to that wonderful and historic country. I traveled in the north of colorful India with an exceptional group of adventurers and a superb guide. Three of the thumbnails above depict scenes in Khajuraho and one is from Varanasi. After the tour of northern states, I next toured the extreme southern states of Tamil and Kerala where it is tropical and supports a very different culture from that in the north. In future I hope to paint from that picturesque area as well more from Varanasi, Jaipur and Agra.
Click on the thumbprints on this page and you can see a larger version of the paintings and also a little about the subjects or the water-color technique.
I never got to Riyadh to deliver that collection to Sharqia Galleries since the Iraq War started, so I have put prices on some of those pieces still in my studio.
I have been asked to include a short biography on these pages, so I have added one. Click here to see info about the artist.
