A long, slow fermentation. A half-inch of foam remained on top of the wort in the secondary for almost two weeks. The foam finally started to break up after that, and with the confirmation of the hydrometer reading, I decided to bottle. Primed with a half cup of corn sugar for 4.25 gallons. Probably a little bit two much.

This beer has a medium to light carbonation after just 7 days in the bottle. The aroma is of malt. The flavors are malt accented until the finish which powerfully bitter. I suspect this bitterness will lessen in two to three weeks time. Nice lace down the side of the glass. This beer is green but it's good!
Doesn't seem like the boilover affected the beer too much. I didn't lose that much wort, maybe a few cups.
