ABOUT MY WATCH REPAIR SERVICE

I am a graduate of the Institute of Jewelry Technology Horology Department (Watch making course).

Most mechanical watches need cleaning every 3-4 years. Quartz watches usually need to be cleaned when you change the battery and it still won't run or runs slow. If your watch needs cleaning, this is what I will do:

• Disassemble the entire watch
• Examine all parts
• Replace damaged or worn parts
• Clean watch in ultrasonic cleaner
• Oil watch with fresh oil
• Replace gaskets and reseal water resistant watch
• Pressure test water resistant cases
• Time out on timing machine
• Minimum 48 hour observation
• Test automatic watches on winding machine
• Give 1 year warranty on all water resistant watches
• Give 1-year warranty on all non-water resistant watches as long as there is no excess water or dust inside watch. This will void warranty.

You can send your timepiece to me by UPS, Federal Express, or U.S. Postal Service. Please be sure to insure you item. I will send you a reply along with an estimate by e-mail or letter within 7 days, and how long it will take to repair. If you decide not to have the work done, there will be a $25.00 charge for the estimate, shipping & handling, and insurance.
