Many of the galleries in which Nix exhibited her work were damaged or destroyed by Hurricane Katrina, or were closed as a direct result of the aftermath of the storm.

The Ohr-O'Keefe Museum Gift Shop - Biloxi, MS
The Depot Gallery - Pascagoula, MS

The new Ohr Museum will open in a few years, and The Depot Gallery will hopefully open
sometime in 2006. Unfortunately, the unique Gathering Place will not re-open. It had such potential.
