Ajam: Major Scale. In traditional music, usually played in Bb.
Bayatee:   An Arabic scale, usually starts in 'D'. Its notes are: "D, E1/2b, F, G, A, Bb, C, D". The scale can be transposed and played in other keys.
Dokah:   The name of the 'D' (Re) note in Arabic.
Higaz:   An Arabic scale, named after a city in Saudia Arabia. Usually starts in 'D'. Its basic notes are: "D, Eb, F, F#, G, A, A#, C, D". It can be transposed and played in other keys.
Nahawand:   The Arabic Minor scale, usually played in G
Seekah:   Arabic Note E 1/2b (between E and Eb)
