The Credibility of Lee Nadeau

What follows is an e-mail exchange between Leo W. Nadeau and me. Nadeau asserts he WAS an active participant and eyewitness to the events of June 19, 1944. I'm still waiting for details from Mr. Nadeau, but a third possible scenario is suggested: was GHW Bush "out of pocket" near Chi Chi Jima due to Dulles's interest in the mysterious vault on that island described by Robert Stinnett in his official Bush biography. Did the Axis lead Dulles to negotiations via promises of secret weapons systems, including, possibly, "foo fighters"?

Mr. Nadeau, shortly after e-mailing me, was injured in a car accident. Is this a pattern?

For example, following e-mails to me about his own experiences in investigating WW2 treason, I received the sad news of the shooting in the leg by a sniper of Mr. Kenn N. Thomas, my Fall, 2000, "witness" to the 1980 radio ad (see "Confirmation of Ad" above on this Site), who, in his last e-mail to me, asked to be left out of my internet contact out of concern for his family.

Some years previously "brake repairs" in Houston in 1982, shortly after I asked around about the radio ad (an incident described in Preface to Tim, George Bush and Me paper edition), had resulted in my car being wrecked by brake failure.

Now, Mr. Nadeau, like Mr. Thomas, seems threatened.

I've also lost two dear personal friends:

Charles Steward, my proctor for paralegal exams, who died in 1997. He's mentioned in the Preface to Tim, George Bush and Me, paper edition;

and James Bolden, a work associate and the subject of a paper on African-American health care problems I prepared for California College for Health Sciences in 2000, who died in 2002.

In 2004, I learned of the death of Brian Downing Quig, who'd noted odd things about the Bush Finnback pickup film of World War II (and quoted in "Confirmation of Ad." I won't "let the turkeys get me down," as I now believe Brian told me in December 2003, in an After-Death Communication (ADC) to me, that has earned a chapter in The Diplomats, Dad and Me.

Two other persons important in my research, John E. Mack, M.D., Harvard psychiatrist who studied abduction, and Betty Hill, famed abductee, died in 2004.

I've had no further word as to the well-being of Brig. Gen. Russell S. Bowen (Ret.) author of The Immaculate Deception since his publisher George Greene at America West informed me he'd become incommunicado in 1998. "He said for us to tell people he's in hiding in South America, due to death threats from persons presently or formerly in the CIA," Mr. Greene told me on the phone at that time.

In August 2005, my car caught fire in the parking lot, at the time of 1500 car fires in Paris, which were officially explained as set by ragtag "students". 1500? In one night?

1. a possible photo of George Bush wrapped up in a swastika;

2. World War II incidents involving Vice-Admiral McCain, the AZ-R Senator and Presidential candidate's grandfather, that may explain why W. didn't pick McCain as his VP. (Sen. McCain wrote (Faith of My Fathers NY: Harper, 2000. 30-6.) that Adm McCain's 2nd Pacific service didn't begin until 8/44: WHY? Deck logs show Adm. McCain back in the Pacific in June 1944. Was he shadowing Bush for FDR, his grandson downplaying it to avoid Party embarassment?)

3. George Bush's whereabouts on June 19, 1944: this has been a major subject of a back-tracking investigation by this writer, after having heard the aforementioned radio ad of 1980. Officially, Bush was taken to the USS Lexington, intelligence hub of the 7th Fleet, after his water-landing that day. WHY? The "official" explanation doesn't seem to suffice, since only fliers with pivotally important info were taken there. Yet Bush had only water-landed that day, after a short flight in the midst of the US fleet. Or does a Naval Intelligence intercept provide a "smoking gun" suggesting the deck log of the CK Bronson, the ship allegedly recording Bush's pickup out of the water on June 19, actually refers to a different plane? A further hint of an oddness about Bush's World War II records: he seems to have known the whereabouts, during active combat, of Rear Admiral Kaufman, and went to visit him on the Lexington (Stinnett 77), after his pick-up by that ship. In wartime, such info. is usually classified. How did a pilot --Bush-- know this? How did Bush get a position in the Navy as a pilot at age 18, for that matter? Indeed, as a reconnaissance pilot? Navy rules required age 21 and two years of college first. Many questions.

4. World War II Navy regulations at the National Archives suggest flexibility in the dating of ships' logs. Robert Stinnett (200) also refers to Bush's squadron's use of "local" time after May, 1944. Did these inspire suspicion Bush was "out of pocket" on June 19, 1944, with the intercept above? Go to "Permission to Date Ahead" and see for yourself.

5. Open deck logs, searches for missing crew, alternative crew to Bush's two regulars, Delaney and Nadeau, as involved in Bush's flight June 19, 1944 off Guam. See the "Bronson Record" for more on Bush's World War II flotilla's deck logs.

6. An odd photograph taken by the USS Healy's crew of its whaleboat shows a half-clad American among Japanese survivors of a three-man plane crash. Who was he? Was it George Bush? Check "The Whaleboat Photo and Other Odd Details." Did it help inspire a book?

7. New evidence of more "undercurrents" in World War II: a Web article about a hidden submarine that disappeared July 20, 1944--the date of the failed assassination attempt on Hitler that played a major role in Allen Dulles's plans for a secret, negotiated settlement of WW2 behind FDR's back, before the November 1944 Presidential elections.

8. Click here for a photo of the mysterious "Kyose vault" found on Chi Chi Jima island in Dec. 1945 by occupying US forces. No one ever explained the vault , as "official" Bush biographer Robert Stinnett notes in George Bush: His World War II Years, 120-126. Controversy has swirled about Bush's activities vis a vis Chi Chi Jima for years. Was his plane on fire when he bailed out? Could he have water-landed? Official Marine Corps records state that "no carrier-based raids were carried out against Chi Chi Jima between July 4, 1944 and February, 1945". Yet, Bush was filmed being picked up from the water there "September 2, 1944". Was the raid on July 4 or September 2? A San Jacinto newspaper asserts September 2, but the date on the actual official record--squadron commander Don Melvin's report--has been removed (see Tarpley and Chaitkin's online Unauthorized Biography, above, for more on this). Meanwhile the log entry of the sub Finnback that picked up Bush is dated for October 1944. Bush's carrier moved in close to Japan--and Chi Chi Jima-- in May 1944, while Bush's roommate, Wyckes, disappeared. What happened? When? And why?

Note the "guardian goddesses" for Tut's tomb (armed women in ancient, patriarchal Egypt, odd in itself) with a sixth finger that takes the form of a wing. Also, note the similarity between the ancient Japanese dogga statues and the famous "Wyoming mystery mummy" discovered by miners in 1934: a sideshow item for decades, it disappeared around 1947-50. While many UFOs, etc., like Bush's seemingly "funny looking" WW2 records, may have explanations, what are we to make of things like this?

Visit this skeptics' Site, "Alien Autopsy: Film Dating", for ironic evidence of "something" to the alleged Santilli "alien autopsy" video. A key skeptic argument in this debate, is that Santilli never had anything but videotape--no late 1940s era film--to back his claims. Yet, Santilli did present several pieces of such film--and to more than one investigative laboratory, as this skeptics' Site acknowledges, as they present two such film splices. Their claim that these "don't show anything" is, however, a bit shaky. See, for example, the film splice on the right: what is it an image of, if not a disk-like shape, partly exposed in some type of doorway? If that isn't what it is, what is it? Please note, too, that the admittedly few pieces of such film that were submitted by Santilli, do date to the 1947 era, even skeptics have conceded.

McMinnville and Me. My explanation of the famous "Trent photos" of 1950. See the Lausanne photo for indications the Trents routinely photographed, for insurance purposes, a non-UL-listed light, used for night maintenance on car and farm equipment and hanging in the backyard between house and garage. Advised by banker and financial advisor, Wortmann, to not acknowledge knowing what it was, they initially, mysteriously responded to reporters' questions with "We think it's something of ours, but we can't tell you what it is".

Later, on region-wide New York TV, live, they mentioned nothing about any military or government harassment of them, as later UFO investigators allege. Why did they not mention this to a wider audience, when they had the chance, if this was, indeed, going on?

A series of e-mails on how weather reports confirm cloud cover reinforced the Klass explanation that the Trents came to lie about the time of day the photos were taken. Indeed, the Salem weather station's report of towering clouds, was irrelevant for the McMinnville area, since Salem was over the visible horizon and any clouds are too low on the horizon to affect the light and shadows in McMinnville. (However, unlike Klass, I don't assert the Trents started out planning to claim a UFO photo. This was forced on them by over-eager reporters and their own efforts to keep their insurance coverage).

Gray area: the "connection" between the Trent photos and the "Rouen photo" of 1954 or 1957 (it's hard to get an exact date). Is it a "knock off" of the Trent photo or proof that the "object" is the "real thing"?

Election 2000: What happened?See what the unofficial Frontline reporter Robert Parry's website says really happened in the 2000 election. The data are all in, and it's clear, Frontline reporters say, that Gore won Florida.
