Hot! (February 2002) In an interview dated 24 January 2002 on news.com.au Michael reveals his recent marriage to photographer Kim Andreolli! Wonderful news, and I know all Mike's friends and fans are delighted to hear of their happiness.

This talented British actor (whose birthday is 19 June 1957) is constantly working in film, television, on stage, and recording for radio and audiobooks in between times. He's also charming and friendly at stage doors, and a very fine teacher, should you be so lucky as to attend one of his workshops. He remains somewhat mystified by the Internet and this web site stuff, but is delighted at the attention received, and sends greetings to all visitors.

I first became aware of Maloney's work through the 1990 film "Truly Madly Deeply". In the early 90's he worked several full and successful seasons with the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford and London. In 1995 he was lured over to pic of Sir (!) RichardRichard Eyre's National Theatre to take the lead in a Christopher Hampton piece on Lewis Carroll.

Michael's current agent is:

One of Michael's contributions to the improvement of the planet is his patronage of HOPE for Children. For more information visit their website, or send mail to HOPE.

Latest news -Other than the huge news of Michael's marriage, there's the fact that The Swap was aired on Aussie television the week of 28 January 2002. This is the project that he did in South Africa last summer.
