Rookie Allied Training Squadren makes breakthrough in bilge pump design!

Cameron Maury, Minister of Technology for the Rookie Allied Training Squadren, announced a breakthrough in bilge pump design. Working tirelessly in the RATS technology labs, allied scientists and engineers completed the first ever exhaustive test of bilge pump technology. Multiple bilge pumps were compared, including advanced Swampworks designs, the best examples from other Allied shops, and even a couple of pumps from the Axis technology labs, including a rare and powerful unit code-named the 'Brown Bomber'

The RATS labs not only determined the best pump (classified data) but so carefully tested the various systems, and cross referenced their features, that the RATS have now identified the crucial features required for optimum pump operation.

Thanks to Minister Cameron1s exhaustive study, the first of these improved pumps was installed in an RATS ship and saw service in a recent spring battle where it was seen to out-pump even the giant Musashi of Will Montgomery!

The RATS eagerly await the completion of Cameron1s mighty California and his entrance into ircwcc combat!
