SHI
119-121 Woodfield Rd, West Hempstead, NY 516-486-9857. New proprietor, new decor, new attitude. Call for scheduled events. We recommend a Friday night with DJ Carrie Lisa, she's magically delicious.
COMMON GROUND
WOMEN'S CONCERT SERIES, 1230 Danby Rd (same as Rte 96B, Ithaca, NY 607-273-1505. College Town, home of Cornell U. Lots of shops & pubs. The bar has a restaurant as well.
THE ICE PALACE
Main Walk, Cherry Grove, Fire Island, NY 516-597-6600. What's there to say about this legendary venue, the heart of Cherry Grove. Check out their site - there's limited information on it, or call them directly.
THE SWAMP
Montauk Hwy, East Hampton, NY This is the only gay owned & operated restaurant & dance club in the hamptons. There's a women's tea dance 6-10p on the Saturday of every holiday weekend from Memorial Day to Labor Day & the first Saturday of August as well.
AUNTIE M'S
3547 Merrick Rd, Seaford, NY 516-679-8820. Mostly a men's bar - but some of the most polite patrons we've ever encountered.

NEW JERSEY
NJ PRIDE EVENTS including NJ PRIDE DAY in Asbury Park & G/L/B/T CULTURAL HERITAGE FESTIVAL at the PNC BANKS ARTS CENTER (formerly the GARDEN STATE ARTS CENTER)
10-14,000 folks celebrating outdoors in October as the leaves are changing. This event never has bad weather. What a party, from the national acts on the main stage where we performed, to the alternative stages up & coming artists. This is worth the drive from anywhere in the Northeast.
The Asbury Park event is the same event on a smaller scale with one stage, but lots of love as well.
THE COLOSSEUM
Ladies night on Friday nights in the Sky Lounge. It's outdoors & indoors with a tiki bar, really great place to kick back & relax, 18 & over to enter. Most of the boys hang out in the disco downstairs, most of the girls hang out in the pool room or the sky lounge. The owners & managers are SO wonderfully nice & really make an effort to balance out the crowd. They even gave free and reduced admission during our performance as well as reduced drink prices (they matched the local women's bars prices for the night).
THE DEN
700 Hamilton Street, Somerset, NJ 732-545-7329 They have a first Saturday of the month Womyn's party. Manhattan prices for drinks & admission BUT it's a great party & a beautiful club with a large disco, intimate VIP room with big sofas & cushions & a pub room/lounge with lots of booths, stools & a pool table. Unfortunately, entertainers are only compensated at half the pay scale - even compared to rooms one quarter of this size, but we miss those Jersey girls so this is our choice of venue in NJ.
SAUVAGE PLAYERS CLUB
Sayerville, NJ. Local bar type crowd. Drinks & cover charge are the lowest you'll find anywhere. We performed here for a few years & had a wonderful time with the NJ area girls, but you won't find us here any more. Feel free to ask the owner why.
We're looking for a new women's venue to perform in NJ for our spring 2000 tour. If you can recommend a venue, please go back to girlfirend productions home page & email us the information - thanks in advance.
PENNSYLVANIA
SISTERS NIGHTCLUB & RESTAURANT
Philly, PA What a womderful place for us. This room has it all. The food in the restaurant is great, the dj in the upstairs disco has got "great flow" (to quote our sound engineer) and there's even a pub area where we perform. Some of the most beautiful women and the nicest come to this place. So why aren't you here too?
NOSTALGIA TAVERNS WOMEN'S CONCERT SERIES
1101 North Ninth St, Reading, PA 610-372-5557. What a wonderful room for this community. There's a front pub room & a separate room with a velvet curtained stage & lighting. Acoustic Entertainment Productions brings in acts from around the North East. Check their site for the latest.
DIAMONZ
1913 West Broad St, Bethlehem, 610-865-1028. Bar & Restaurant. Lounge has a great stage. The club is set up really nice with a disco downstairs. Upstairs there's a pub with pool tables in one room & a Lounge with a big bar & small tables where food is served in another.
MASSACHUSETTS
NONOs & KITTYS (formerly the LOVE SHACK)
Shankpainter Rd, Provincetown, MA. Saddly, it's an ofice building now & no longer a club, but we had some wonderful memories there during WOMENS'S WEEK over the last few years.
