HOENIX is the collaborative effort of Diane Brusso (LOIS LANE, NYC) and Sara Stewart (solo artist, Philly, PA).  These established circuit musicians joined forces to rise above their individual success and grow beyond their recognized projects.  Their collective experiences have brought them to VA, DC, DE, PA, NJ, NY, CT, MA, RI & VT brandishing their versions of new & classic favorites from rock, disco, folk & top 40 eras. These girls have corporate backing from national sponsors including Jagermeister liquor where they provide additional promotional support for the performances.  Committed to the Lesbian community, both Diane & Sara further our common goals from local & national exposure as out lesbians. They have generously donated their efforts to support causes from breast cancer to AIDS, but more so to support Women's groups like NOW, Women's Sports Foundatiion & NARAL.
