Richard the Strong has served his king and country for many years. He was knighted at a very early age, having learned everything he knows from a mighty warrior -- his father. Richard's ambition is to follow in is father's footsteps by beating the horrible Cedric the Bull. Richard is King Leo's best knight, and no man has ever beaten him in single combat. His best friend is his own apprentice knight, John of Mayne; together they make a fighting force that no bandit can stop.
