Artist Biography

A native of San Diego California, Leana began pursuing her interests in fine art in her early twenties. She spent several years independently exploring various mediums and developing her skills while also pursuing a successful career in the computer field. In 1997 she returned to school earning a certificate in Graphic Design and Fine Art.This awarded winning artist has displayed her work in numerous representational art shows, local art and craft fairs, and solo exhibits. Publications include: Best of America oil artists and artisans (volume 1), The Artist's Magazine, Marquis Who's Who, and FCC Rampage. Leana's interests include horticulture, with a special imphasis on growing miniature roses. Being a diehard rock and roll fan, her favorite musicians include, The Rolling Stones, and Led Zeppelin. She shares her home with her two cats, Apollo and Strider. |
