Obituary of Robert Eugene Slaten

SLATEN--In France, Aug. 11, 1944, Pfc Robert Eugene Slaten, age 21 years, husband of Margaret Kennamer Slaten; father of Robert Eugene Slaten, Jr. ; son of N. H. and Addie Craft Slaten; brother of Mrs. Pat Howard, Mrs. Leon Billings and Mrs. Curtis Nelson, all of Memphis, and Mrs. E. K. Dodson of Jackson, Miss.

Funeral services, conducted by the Rev. Lee H. Baum, will be held at the Cosmopolitan Funeral Home, 1900 Union Avenue, this (Saturday) afternoon at 1 o'clock. Friends are invited. Interment in Elmwood Cemetery, with military rites at the grave.
