Shanahan - Stewart Family Reunion held in Coldwater Mississippi Transcription: THE TATE COUNTY DEMOCRAT, SENATOBIA, MISSISSIPPI FAMILY REUNION OF COUSINS AT PHILLIPS HOME         Sunday, May 10th, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Phillips, Rt., 2, Coldwater, a family reunion was held. The occasion was a visit of four sons of the late Mr. and Mrs. Stewart, natives of Tate County, who moved to Texas about 1893. Notes: $1$ $$ Charley Dennie Stewart (03 Aug 1893-04 Apr 1965) and wife Nancy D. Culver Stewart (06 Aug 1898-10 Sep 1962). Charley was born in Coldwater MS (the second child of Seaborn Randall Stewart and Lena Estelle Shanahan). Article mentions that Charley's last visit to the area was 53 years ago which puts this reunion's date at 1946; however this cannot be correct because there are two small children in this photo (Rita Jane Freeze born Oct 1951) and Terry Guin Freeze (born 2 Dec 1950). This reunion took place at William E. Phillips and Nora Mildred Shanahan's home in Coldwater, MS. Transcribed 16 October 2007 by K. L. Rhodes from a photocopy of the original newpaper article sent to me by Judy Colleen Stewart Waite who found it in the files of her father Lowry Stewart. The top portion showing the date of the article is cut off and cannot be read, but from clues in the article and photo I believe the date of the reunion was 10 May 1952 or 10 May 1953 (1953 being more probable; see note #1) NOTE: Your help is needed. Article lists 37 names but I only see 36 people in the photo; one of the persons mentioned in the article is therefore behind the camera? Help me with my guesses as to who is who in this photo.
