H. C. Murrie

    H. C. Murrie, 95, of Kermit died Thursday, May 24, 1990, at Permian General Hospital in Andrews.
    Graveside services were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 26, in Kermit Cemetery with Rev. L. D. Green officiating. Cooper Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
    Born March 23, 1895, in Albany, he married Beulah Pearl Shanahan on May 6, 1928, in Dallas.
    Having lived in Kermit 43 years, Murrie moved here in 1947. He was owner of Western Auto store until his retirement in 1964. Murrie was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War 1. He was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 1258 and a Baptist.
    Survivors include his wife of Kermit; a son, Dan Murrie of Odessa; a daughter, Colleen Hensley of Odessa; and two grandchildren.
