1964 Auravision Record Cards
WOW!
Thanks to all who ordered these 1964 Auravision Record Cards. We have been besieged
with orders for Gem Mint Cards. Consequently quantities are very low and we now must pay more
to replace (when we can). Please order by phone to confirm availability. These 6" x 6" record
cards were produced two years only 1962 and 1964. Many 1960's baseball items did not rise in
value as quick as the traditional Topps cards later, items like stand-ups, supers, decals and many
others rose 10 and 20 times in value! Look at their prices today, thousands of dollars per set,
hundreds of dollars per card! The 1964 Auravision Record/Cards are still very, very reasonable.
These Auravision Record Cards were produced in small quantities; and, a fire destroyed a
large part of those that were produced. Kids in 1964 played these record/cards on their 331/3 RPM
record players and consequently almost all were used and damaged. At best, only a small amount
remain in unused and Mint condition today! Yet, early 1960's Topps Frank Robinson cards in Gem
Mint sells for thousands of dollars while a 1964 Auravision Frank Robinson in Gem Mint goes for
less than $300.00! But, all collectors know many more Topps Mantles exist than Auravision! The
Auravision has additional value beyond a card because it is a unique 1960's memorabilia piece as
a talking record! The player on the card is featured in a five minute interview with sportscaster
Marty Glickman. Of course, you do not want to play it because you must keep it in top condition!
We cannot think of a better investment. Also, we are active buyers of these cards and will pay top
dollar. Call us to discuss the sale of your Auravision Record Cards
