mini-Binky and her VW Golf. Well, I don't know the LEGOŽ maniac alive or dead who hasn't at one time or another bashed (put together from existing pieces) a minifig of themselves or someone they know. I have a whole bunch of my family. Here's one of me and my car. The Golf is a great car for a LEGOŽ clearance shopper. This sturdy little hatchback is perfect for a rapid-fire dump-and-go of all the sets you buy when one or more of the retailers goes through a seasonal clearance sale.

Modified Santa Fe Super Chief and MOC B Unit. The portholes were customized from 2x2 panels, with holes cut out and a clear window welded into the inside of the frame.

Subway.

6 wide service vehicles.

Garbage truck. This is a modification (from 4 to 6 wide) of the LEGO garbage truck set.

Fire trucks: Engine 1 and 2.

Engine 1 has an extending crane with a pivoting basket. Notice the placement of the wheels. This is like a real life basket truck, where the weight of the vehicle is mostly in the back where the crane/ladder mechanism is. Also, the shorter wheelbase means this truck can make tighter turns. The short white ladder hooks to the rear of the truck to allow the firemen to climb the truck to get to the ladder that leads to the basket. In almost all the actual trucks with pivoting baskets I've seen, however, the crane/ladder has cross bracing and rails to allow wind to pass through the ladder assembly. I am still experimenting with obtaining that distinctive look, but to be frank, this truck is already very tall and simulating the ladder assembly would just add to its height.

Engine 2 has an extending ladder for rescue missions from tall buildings. The hose is in the rear while the pumper controls and gauges are in their traditional location on the side of the truck. There are plenty of storage lockers to accommodate gear. The cabin carries a driver and 1 other fighter.

Both trucks have lifts built beneath the rear fender to stabilize the vehicle when their apparatuses are extended.
