Castle minifigs. Probably one of the larger categories of customized minifigs. Mine are for a fiction I'm writing. You can visit my Castle-MOC page for character details. Here, I'm only discussing the modifications I've made to put these characters together.

The lion-soldiers above are based on the same design as the classic town square set. I used some spare blue torsos and bat shields, painted one side with silver enamel, and applied an ink-jet color water-slide decal. This made for a foil-type appearance.

Calyn modifications: 1. Rock Raider Jets head with microphone removed and face retouched. 2. altered Hazel the Witch torso. 3. modified dragon helm with modified side feathers (to decrease the width of the helmet). 4. painted sword. 5. modified axe. 6. custom cape with iron-on decal.

Malcolm modifications: 1. combination crown/battle helmet with chin guard - one of the first pieces I've ever done. 2. painted European body armor. 3. custom cape with iron-on decal.

Wraith King modifications: 1. combination crown/battle helmet with chin guard - helmet has been "rusted" by a hot Rit dye bath. 2. modified UFO armor to accommodate the helmet. 3. stripped chrome sword to simulate bone/ivory blade. 4. great axe dyed black. 5. sticker shield. 6. horse wings from dragon wings and 1x1 top clips that have been sanded down for a lower profile and glued to the sides of the horse. 7. the saddle was modified to accommodate the wing-clips.
