In early 2005, Patrick said he has "a strong belief that this is a post-wedding photo of Julia Nolan and her husband, George A. "Al" Hoffman, who were married in late 1883 at Ridgeville, Wis., by Sparta's Congregational minister. I place the time period of the photo as early 1880s, based on the Richardson and Foster imprint. I've compared the picture of this woman with one I have of my great-grandmother, Julia, from 1899 or 1900 and there is certainly more than a little resemblance."
