Openings
Shutters of a darker day
tossed back.
Brilliance enters,
welcomed into pale arms
that shivered through the night.

Sea-fresh breezes tickle
corners of a page.
Turned up, it smiles aloft
and sails into blue sky,
never to be shuttered.
