Luna
Like a storm of yellow charging from the East,
Luna screams at me.
Like the meeting of eyes as if in a dream,
Luna smiles at me.

With light, soft and gentle
as the lovers' first sigh
In a glow warm and tender
as a childhood lullaby
Luna's charm embraces me.

She blows me a kiss in the post-sunset breeze,
Luna, stay with me.
In night's darkened chamber, caresses my cheek,
Luna, come to me.

Like the seas she commands
my soul is the tide
My heart is the ship that won't be denied
its magical midsummer evening's joyride
Luna's grace possesses me.

Like a river that flows ever on to the sea,
Luna, please carry me.
An infinite voyager whose miles never cease,
Luna, I beg of thee.

Make me your co-pilot
through the cold depths of space
We'll journey together to that mystical place
and there we'll illumine the minds of our race
Luna, Luna...speak to me.
