As far as resort area campgrounds go, this one is okay, but I don't think we'll go back soon. There is no direct access to the beach, but one can walk to the shore in about 10 minutes. Most people drive & park for 50 cents/hr. Small campground with too many sites crowded in for maximum revenue. If you're in a travel trailer and just want to use this as a stopover it's probably not a bad choice, although anything over 40 feet will have some trouble maneuvering. Unfortunately, this is the only campground on Tybee Island.
