In 1975, Stan Clark & Steve File opened a small bar off the Oklahoma State University campus in Stillwater, OK. They named it Eskimo Joe's, furnished it with mismatched chairs and rented tables, and made 72 T-shirts to spread the word. In '84 Eskimo Joe's expanded with food & live entertainment. Growing popularity spurred on Joe's Clothes - a line of clothing featuring logos of Joe, a toothy Eskimo and his faithful slobbering dog, Buffy. What started as the basic t-shirt sold behind the bar at Eskimo Joe's has grown into four Joe's Clothes stores sporting the biggest smile around! This year, Eskimo Joe's is celebrating *25 in 2000!* For 25 years, Joe's has been the place to go for fun, great food, and world-famous clothing and accessories.
Our favorite item in the Eskimo Joe's line, is of course, this adorable bean bag set. Joe's thick, furry coat can be opened to reveal his own miniature t-shirt. Buffy's soft fur and big red tongue make him the perfect companion. Together, they make the perfect gift for under $25.
