Writing: Daily typing and journal. Reports for scouts on moon, sun's fusion cycle, the expanding milky way. In his writing book he completed "Outlining a report" and "Adding Adverbs to Make Writing Interesting". He also wrote several letters to family members and Dr. Segal. |

Science: Astronomy merit badge work with Dr. Art Segal. (See writing for list of reports.) Sean also charted the cycle of the moon and studied the constellations. |

Literature: For study Sean read Tales of Ancient Egypt and Ancient Cities of Africa. For pleasure Sean read nine books at his grade level. He also read "The Mysterious Treasure of King Solomon". |

Sean and I are working on making practice a daily thing. |

Scouts: Sean was voted to become assistant patrol leader for the younger scouts. He worked on his astronomy and personal management badges this month. |

Misc: Sean watched a video about the Japanese Internment camps and protesters in the camps. We also attended a screening of "Flight" at the McWane center. |
