Children need our help
More than ever, children in America need help. They need role models, they need interaction, they need to see real life and not Hollywood's version of life.
Be a Hand for God for children:
* Donate decent, enjoyable library books. (Get permission and visit a local school library or call a local librarian. Find out if they have two copies of your favorite children's book. If not, buy two copies. If they do have it, buy two copies of your second favorite book.)

* Find a child to read to. Local schools welcome volunteers to do this.
* Ask your local school if they have a fund for doctor, dentist and eye care visits for children who can't afford them. Contribute or set up a fund.
* Ask your local school if they have a coat, clothing, shoes and supplies closet. Contribute or set up one.
* Ask your local school to let you know if there is a child who cannot afford a field trip or special trip and needs help. Children deserve something special once in a while.
* Buy a band instrument or a scout uniform for a needy child.
* Pray for America's children.
