In 1978 Gibson and Marjorie McKenzie founded the Tartan Heirs to perpetuate Scottish heritage.  Mr. McKenzie is a regular attendee at dance classes and continues to dance with the Tartan Heirs.

Mr. McKenzie also founded the Clan Mackenzie Society in the Americans,Inc. more than 25 years ago. He also founded the Caladonian Society of Alabama and numerous other Scottish related societies in the Southeast.  His efforts brings our proud Scottish Heritage closer to the knowledge and awareness of all that he meets and his efforts continue to help perpetuate the true spirit of Scotland and the Scottish people.

Mr McKenzie is also the owner of Caledonian Imports, offering Scottish related goods and Celtic goods.
