  Directions:
 
  1.   Knead Rice Balls:
Boil 1/4 cup water. Pour 1 1/2 cups glutinous rice flour in large bowl, stir in boiling water. Add 1/2 cup cold water. Mix well to make soft dough. Knead until smooth about 4 minutes. Divide dough into 5 rolls; cut each roll into 4 pieces; knead each piece into small ball as shown in video. This makes 20 rice balls.

  2.   Prepare Sweet Sesame Filling:
Melt butter in microwave oven on HIGH 1 minute. Combine sesame powder, sugar, and butter in a large bowl. Mix well. Knead until smooth. Divide into 20 pieces as shown in video.

     What you'll need:
 
  1½   cups glutinous rice flour
  1/4   cup hot water (for Step 1)
  1/4   cup black sesame powder
  1/4   cup unsalted butter, about 1/2 stick
  1/2   cup granulated white sugar
  8   tablespoons granulated white sugar

  3.   Stuff Rice Balls with Filling:
Knead each rice ball, place sesame mix in the center, knead again as shown in video. Do the same for the remainders.

  4.   Bring 8 cups water to boil, put in the rice balls. Cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes, wait until all the rice balls float to the surface. Add 8 tablespoons granulated white sugar, stir well.

Remove from heat. Serve.
