  Directions:
 
  1.   Finely chop shrimp meat. Place in a bowl. Chop green onion, and ginger into small bits. Combine wine, salt, egg white, and cornstarch in cup, mix well. Discard crust; tear bread into crumbs.

  2.   Add chopped ginger, green onion, and egg white mixture with shrimp. Mix well. Squeeze out shrimp balls (about 1.5" in diameter) with hands as shown in video. Coat with crumbs. Place raw shrimp balls in plate.

     What you'll need:
 
  10   oz. shrimp, without shell
  1   green bell
  ½   egg white
  ½   tablespoon white wine
  ½   teaspoon salt
  ½   teaspoon ginger, chopped
  1   teaspoon green onion, chopped
  2   teaspoons cornstarch
  3   teaspoons black pepper
  5   teaspoons ketchup
  5   cups corn oil
  5   slices bread

  3.   Heat oil to 300° F in pan, fry shrimp balls in oil until golden brown. Remove from oil.

  4.   Cut green bell into halves. Carve edge into zigzag skirt. Pour in ketchup. Arrange fried shrimp balls, green bell cup, black pepper, and green leaf lettuce in platter. Serve. Makes 4 servings.
