  Directions:
 
  1.   Cut abalone into large thin slices; keep the abalone juice for Step 5.

  2.   Remove stem from soaked mushroom. Place mushroom in the center of bowl; interleave abalone and ham slices around the mushroom in bowl as shown in the final dish.
  3.   Combine cooked macaroni and 1/2 teaspoon ginger juice in cup; mix well; pour into bowl. Add 1/2 cup chicken soup.

     What you'll need:
 
  ½   canned abalone
  12   slices ham, about 1" x 2"
  1   black mushroom, soaked
  1   cup macaroni, cooked
  ½   teaspoon salt
  ½   teaspoon ginger juice
  1   tablespoon flour
  1½   cup chicken soup

  4.   Heat water in steamer, bring to a boil; steam abalone-macaroni for 20 minutes. Remove from steamer, pour bowl upside down onto platter.

  5.   Heat 4 tablespoons oil in pan to medium hot, pour in flour; stir over low heat until light brown. Add 1/2 teaspoon salt, abalone juice and chicken soup, stir constantly until smooth. Remove from heat. Pour on top of steamed abalone. Serve. Makes 1 serving.
